Moodboard

This is a mood-board incorporating various still images from other psychological horrors. Our plot idea included some conventional characters and cinematography demonstrated by these images; for example, young possessed girls, restricted narration and over the shoulder shots all contribute towards the eerie type of horror that has a psychological impact on the audience. Our shot ideas for our trailer include using split screen in order to have a reflection moving when the character is not. Other ideas included using minimal amounts of gore in order to appeal to a wider audience of horror fans. Films such as: The Ring, Mirrors, The Exorcist, Black Swan and Sinister have all influences our ideas for shots due to their representation of young girls, incorporation of gory special effects and eclectic angles in frames.
